His main aim is exploring the unknown sounds that human mind can conceive by using electronic means, finding the inspiration somewhere up in the black sky, where the human concept of techno meets the acid sound of a gloomy rain full of mystery: the sound of a desolated industrial scene where the deep dysphasic bass-line links brain synapses to the heart-beat, subconsciously.

Rapid Douglas, c’est le projet de Yann Douglas et de son ami l’ordinateur. Hommage aux couchers de soleils et aux plages de sable
blanc. La synth-pop de Rapid Douglas, c'est Miami Vice sur la Côte Nord, c'est l'excès de Cocktails près d'une paillote dans un un film de Stanley Kubrick, bref la B.O d'une soirée dont on ne se souvient plus très bien, mais qui nous a changé .
Des Synthés, des synthés et encore des synthés dégoulinants de mélodies 80ties ponctués de beats electros bien aiguisés et d'une voix aux textes évocateurs.
