The Mudd played their first shows in early 2016 and have since descended endlessly further into a dreamscape of melancholy lyrics, washed-out guitar parts and whirling rhythms. The band released their debut single “Love Apparatus” in 2019 and followed it with three songs on their first EP, Look at Me, released in October 2020. Inspired by bands such as Slowdive, Ride, The Cure and Sonic Youth, they tell stories of longing for control, while treasuring what has slipped away. On the verge of a lush shoegazing aesthetic and a driving and sharp indie rock sound, The Mudd are constantly negotiating and reinventing their musical style.

Mo Bedick, the name might confuse you in thinking about the dusty old novel written by Herman Melville. But, don’t be fooled, Mo Bedick is anything but dusty. This band is redefining psychedelic indie music with great ambitions. Inspired by the greatest hits of shoegaze, psychedelic rock, hip hop and future jazz, Mo Bedick will hypnotize it’s listeners with unique and enchanting melodies, creating a Disney-like feeling. And as we know from Disney movies, there is always an unexpected and complex turn of events. Mo Bedick doesn’t seem to be unfamiliar with this concept, as deadly rhythms and razor-sharp riffs can unexpectedly crush your dreamy state of being in a heartbeat.

Hosting since october 2010 "Signaal/Ruis" (Dutch for Signal/Noise), a radioshow every Friday from 8 pm till 9 pm @ Radio Scorpio, 106.0 FM Leuven (Belgium).  This radioshow tries to fill the gap between sweet and raw guitarsounds.

This compilation album is the result of collaboration between musicians and visual artists all residing (working and / or living) in the Biotoop van Haren - the largest creative breeding ground in the northern part of the Netherlands. This project was made possible by crowdfunding. The campaign was organized by Voordekunst.

The limited edition 2-disk vinyl release comes housed in a screen printed hand-numbered gatefold sleeve (screen print by Laureen Langkamp) and is pressed on 180g coloured vinyl. The sleeve features artwork by Wouter Nijland and Marja Hagenauw.
