Sabir is an extinct lingua franca that allowed people from all over the mediterranean basin to communicate with one another despite their different home languages. Sabir was Influenced  by the wave of different dialects and by their nuances, still it represented a common languages for every population of that area.
Today music connects all of us, no matter if we speak Italian, English, Portuguese or Chinese, and people keep looking for a global language. That's what the "Sabir project" is all about: trying to give life to a melting pot of different musical styles, languages and cultures through the experience of artists from all over the world.
