Lähtöviiva EP nyt kuunneltavissa!

a.k.a J.Who on Oululainen räppäri, jolle musiikki on intohimo ja elämäntapa. Tavoitteenaan pitää paska aitona ja nauttia matkasta.

Tigre Méndez

Bolívar. F. Méndez B, “Tigre “. Born May 20, 1982. Ecuadorian. I´m a rapper, and songwriter.
Since I was a little kid I liked music a lot especially salsa´s  music by influence of my dear mother and also I liked  music in English language by influence of my dear father who is bilingual.
 The first time that I had contact with hip-hop and rap music was in the late 90s. Came a song in a radio station sang by Gerardo Mejía (Ecuadorian rapper). The name of the song was” Ven michú michú”.
 I loved the rhythm a lot. Then a very popular duet (Caster and Spy) called “La collection” from Ecuador achieved modest fame with a song called “Jam Jam”. They got my attention. I liked their music. I liked the way how they get dressed. 
Then when I turned 16 years old. I got a lot influence for hip-hop and rap by my classmate Pirulin Pozo and  from my homie Andy Rey. They were listening to Tzantza matanza. La etnia. Vico C. Delinquent’s habits at that time. I really love it. It was the start of my love for hip-hop/rap. 
Then my friends the KN and I started listening to Ariana Puello. Frank T. Nach scratch. Control machete. Cypress Hill. My love for hip-hop increased.  
I tried break dance. But I wasn´t good enough. I tried graffiti and beat box. But I wasn´t good enough. Finally I tried freestyle. Here I realized that I am good enough. So I became as Mc and songwriter.
My inspiration to make an album came from my very good friends El Pana and  Alex J. They supported and feeded my dreams to express myself through the music.
My first Ep I did in 2014. It´s called “The Tiger Méndez is roaring lyrics”. My second Ep is called  “Things to think about”. I recorded both of them in Finland. I was assisted by my compadre Teazco and my friend Bk.
I do conscious hip-hop/rap. I hope you liked it!
