This is some ambient music I composed for a short film in collaboration with Diane Drubay (Skin Of Their Light). Will be one of many because this project is ongoing and a way I can experiment more with textures and sounds to further develop my ear and aesthetic. Also it's a very interesting and challenging process to write to the movement of nature.

Sysselmann is a dark ambient project by Thomas Narverud.
In 1999 he started performing as Inderst Elia and has since performed solo as well as alongside other artists both home and abroad.

Sysselmann is always true to meditative music, preferably on the darker side. The approach is somewhat boundless, using a mix of field recordings, d.i.y objects and acoustic instruments.

The tracks Coastal Fairway Northbound and Transmigration is a preview of the upcoming debut album  “ The Northern Chronicles”, a tribute to the collective consciousness of the northern parts of Norway where most of the field recordings and sounds were made.

Here is a re-upload of a sort of compilation I recorded early last summer (2018). Originally published as a promo mix for a local beachball event, I believe it did not receive the attention it deserves, so I'm giving it another chance with some spanking new cover art from the talented Karolina Kareivaitė and a download link.

Music for Sunbathing is a collection of tunes me and my friends enjoy relaxing to.  It is intended for those Bluetooth speakers you take with you to the beach. Some tracks are mixed, others are not, but I did try to keep the rhythm going even in those spots with no mix.

Special thanks go out to @justeza and @linaszukas for helping me with the digging for this tape. It wouldn't have turned out like this without you guys.

With all that said, if music at the beach is your kind of thing, or if you like imagining you are at the beach when you're actually somewhere else, give this one a spin. :)
