Tipper Bootsale was said to be a musician, moving without notice through the local music scene. Little is known about them, except that they had a knack for “upcycling” discarded home furnishings and selling them at charity shops, arts and craft sales and out the back of their car. Nothing is known about the “Nine-Tenths” - new or old.

At some point, a Dallas, Texas area music producer found a box of dusty cassette tapes and a few scratched CDs made by Tipper and his mates, and after unsuccessfully trying to find the author(s), decided to reproduce some of the some of the many songs found there, hopefully faithful to the artist’s vision, and perhaps find Bootsale at last!

This is, of course, a “real” story.
