Spiral Trax returns to its fullon goa psytrance roots with this powerbomb album by Talamasca that completed the year 2001 as a seminal time for the growth and maturity of the genre on a whole. Collaborating with Spiral Trax, by this time one of the primary labels representing this sound around the globe, was a natural part of Cedric's climb to the top of the psy world.

Divine music! DJ Lestat aka Cédric Dassulle is regarded to be one of the absolute top names in the psychedelic trance scene, both as a DJ and with his project, Talamasca. His favourite quote being...'I am here to make the people shout', can be sensed all the way through his music.
He spins all over the world and has written tracks together with most of the top names on the scene, Christof, Infected Mushroom, Xerox, Space Cat etc. Furthermore, releasing his tunes under various alter egos on labels such as TIP, 3D Vision and Mdma only to mention a few.

It has been a long time since such high quality full power trance was unleashed upon the world. Immaculate production, rock hard kick drums and riffs bigger than a football stadium, this is full on trance with balls the size of an elephant.

Primarily a solo project by Cédric, Talamasca was founded in 1996 with Steve Eli and Javier De Galloy that were at that time house producers and had their own music studio. They decided to cooperate on a trance project and founded Talamasca. Steve and Javier gave all the possible advices to Cedric, who after six tracks continued Talamasca on his own, releasing over 100 tracks in the years to come. 
The name "Talamasca" is derived from the name of a society of psychic detectives in the

We are delighted to welcome back our old friends Total Eclipse to TIP Records.  This project has a special place in our heart - their first release, the classic Waiting For A New Life, was the second ever TIP release way back in 1994.
Founding member Stephane Holweck has been the sole active member of the project since 2005.  This year however, Marios Makar Trivyzas (Plasmatix/Makar) has become an official member of the band and together with Stephane is bringing the updated alien futuristic sound of the band on stage. Lari Plays Guitar is an eclectic tune that combines cutting-edge electronica with splendid riffs of Guitar (Laroz) and Keyboard (Sharon Mansur aka SHASHA). This Middle-Eastern futuristic tale is enveloped by a profound and extremely pleasurable bass-line, which frames the mesmerizing organic elements and the enchanting acidic synth melodies that lead the track.

On remix duty, we have a splendid collaboration between the Danish Producer @drwartemal and the Berlin-based producer @patrickluwak. Both are making their debut on our label with an exquisite nomadic tale full of organic vibes and a very enjoyable deep bass. Following up next we have the pleasure to welcome the Lebanese producer Rabih Rizk to our label with a powerful and extremely captivating interpretation, perfectly suited for peak time hours. Last but not least we have the marvelous Haifa-based producer, Ackerman, back on our imprint and this time with an obscure and hypnotizing remix, characterized by its psychedelic synth and its driving Indie Dance-ish bass-line.

In 1994, Raja Ram formed TIP Records, one of the original Goa-Trance / Psy-Trance labels based in the UK.  He had already been releasing music with his band The Infinity Project (T.I.P.) since the late 80's and after putting on, now legendary, TIP parties around this time, the idea to start a record label was conceived.

30 years on, TIP has gone from strength to strength with 100's of cutting-edge electronic music releases to date including highly respected classic dance music compilations right through to experimental downtempo and ambient music to a world wide (perhaps even inter-galactic)loyal following.

As ambassadors of the label, Raja Ram and DJ Lucas O'Brien (SuperModule) presented their label showcase touring the globe for over 20 years bringing the TIP sound to a wider audience.
The back catalogue reads like a who's who of the Psychedelic Trance scene and TIP helped many top artists to launch their careers.
