A classic TIP compilation series that I started back in 1996.  The original idea was to collect some of the best tracks off vinyl singles and put them onto an album.  They became very popular for the people who weren't dedicated vinyl junkies to get hold of some of the killer tracks from the underground party scene back then on CD.  NOW the concept is to put together some of the best tracks over the last 2 years that appeared as digital singles/ep's. To give people who missed out the option to  buy some of the key moments all together at a great price.  

If you have a few its still worth it probably to have the collection like this. so get yourself tipnotised and Get Hip to Tip!

Sideform are Drasko and Milos and are from Belgrade.  The first release on Tip from Serbia and its a goodie.  The Serbian Psy Trance scene exploded in the early noughties and all artists came back talking of the incredible energy and passion at the parties.  So we are very happy to have our first act from one of the great new(ish) Psy countries.  Both have studio engineering backgrounds and are audio freaks.  This is a quality production that represents their take on things.  Great depth and atmospherics with a a laid back arrangement that leads to a powerful conclusion.  A band to watch if you weren´t already!  

Then we have a fabulous remix by Gnomes of Kush who bring a  very alternate take on it.  A  more direct, minimal, techy feel with a great punch and a monster kick.  Groovy and very infectious.

To finish off the package there is a ManMadeMan Remix of another Sideform track called "Destruction" originally released on Prog On Syndicate Records.  It does what ManMadeMan do in their typicaly UK fashion and draw the funk out into Psy Trance...adding a very danceable slab of juiciness to this EP.

Martian Arts is a very exciting new act on Tip Records.  It is Nectarios Meidanis from Greece.  "Nectar" for short and his fresh take on Psy sounds are like pure audio amber-Nectar! He has been  making  waves on the Psy Trance scene underground for the last year and is about to break big on the global circuit.  His sound is a refreshing blend of analogue and digital and we here at TIP love it. Deep, psychedelic, crunchy, funky.  Irresistible.  Involuntary dance moves guaranteed.

This is another debut on Tip.  Brightlight has been sending in music for the past year and his level has been rising and rising.  Always an interesting take on things with his unique uses of vocal samples and choice of sounds and his arrangements.   Entertaining psychedelic music.  With these tracks we felt he was ready for a prime release on Tip.  Its accompanied by a collaboration track with Tip regulars ManMadeMan which is a corker!  This track has ben doing the rounds at parties in the hands of a few hand selected DJ's and the responses have been phenomenal.  Very psychedelic, funky and hard hitting.  Already a hit.  We think people are going to "Make Up Their Mind" quite quickly that they need to "Focus" on this EP.

This is a special release from Faders & Melicia.  Faders released an outstanding debut on Tip earlier in 2014 and has been one of the years biggest releases.  It was a collab with Audiotec and featured to killer tracks, "Artificial Minds" & "Psychedelic Tool".

Here this is an extremely well crafted, modern Psy Trance  track but with an extra charisma from the lovely Eastern vocal by Melicia.

1200 Micrograms are back and kick off 2015 for TIP with an almighty bang.  20 Years ago this week were releasing Stimuli and finishing off the Yellow album and we are just as busy now with a series of top grade releases coming your way.

1200 Micrograms are Tips main headline act and deliver the highest impact performances and music .  We are thrilled to be ale to start 2015 with a new EP from the 1200 boys. And double thrilled to have 
on it a really fantastic Outsiders remix of one of the biggest hits from the band, "Shivas India".  Outsiders have become in 2014 one of the most important acts on Tip and one of the fastest rising acts in the global Psy Trance scene. Stranded is one of the classic tracks from the unique Goa legend, Johann Bley.  Apart from his solo work and a series of the genres most loved classics he is also famous for his action packed live drumming on tour with Juno Reactor.  This was one of those enormous tracks that put the rock into rocking Psy Trance.  Famously remixed by The Delta and now completely redone with new guitars by 1200 Micrograms with the help of Lenny Ibizare.

In 1994, Raja Ram formed TIP Records, one of the original Goa-Trance / Psy-Trance labels based in the UK.  He had already been releasing music with his band The Infinity Project (T.I.P.) since the late 80's and after putting on, now legendary, TIP parties around this time, the idea to start a record label was conceived.

30 years on, TIP has gone from strength to strength with 100's of cutting-edge electronic music releases to date including highly respected classic dance music compilations right through to experimental downtempo and ambient music to a world wide (perhaps even inter-galactic)loyal following.
