Desert Stars is a 5-piece band from Brooklyn, New York formed October 2008. Built on the creative output of classically-trained violinist Janelle Best, the band dispatches its own brand of shoe-gaze psych-pop with intricately-layered instrumentation, lush harmonies and atmospheric guitar topped by Best’s dreamy tenor.

Project from Lisbon, Portugal, featuring five musicians with different backgrounds, united by a shared passion for instrumental rock. Inspired by many of the international bands that define the genre, they gather songs with different moods in which they explore the generous possibilities of "post-rock".

Named as 'One of Europe’s finest ’gazer bands of the last decade' [Daily Bandcamp], Rev Rev Rev remetabolize shoegaze and psychedelic rock elements in a loud, woozy, fuzz-driven way.
Their live set at Manchester's Cosmosis Festival, headlined by The Jesus and Mary Chain, Brian Jonestown Massacre, The Raveonettes and WIRE, kick-started a 44 date tour touching UK, France, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland and Italy, during which the quartet shared the stage with The Telescopes, Ringo Deathstarr and Gonjasufi.
Last March Rev Rev Rev hit the studio once more with Sergio Pomante (Ulan Bator, Lay Llamas) on drums.
The new album, produced by James Aparicio (Spiritualized, Mogwai, Cult Of Dom Keller, Dead Vibrations), is due for release next autumn.
