Jahhira Tisa Brown, known professionally as Tisa Reign, is a Caribbean-raised American Rapper, Singer, and Songwriter. Born in New York, she moved to the Caribbean at age 2 and gravitated towards music to overcome a difficult childhood. She often describes her songwriting as a journey of past, present, and future which represents where she has been, what she is doing, and where she is going. The genre she is known for is alternative rap, which unlike traditional hip-hop, infuses the genre into afrobeats, pop, reggae, and other popular sounds. Reign had to juggle music, school, and work but her true passion lies on the stage.
 
Determined to make it in the music industry, Reign started investing her paycheck into studio sessions and music videos. This eventually led her to a distribution deal with Add Ventures music where she had the opportunity to release music at a mass scale. She has since released countless singles and most recently debuted her EP, Reign or Shine which has expanded her fan base abroad capturing the attention of a few influential hitmakers in the industry. As for what it’s next, she definitely has her eyes on being one of the biggest names in the music industry.
