A forward-thinking collaboration born from Radio 1’s Lockdown Linkup programme, ‘Flashing Lights’ is the surging techno anthem from internationally revered producer Alan Fitzpatrick and singer / DJ extraordinaire Bklava. The duo meld sonically to create a chuggy odyssey of stomping kicks and fleeting chord stabs reminiscent of nineties warehouse settings. Acting as an overseer of sorts, Danny Howard challenged some of his favourite artists to join forces and create an exclusive collaborative track for his BBC Radio 1 broadcast. Previous artist collaborations include Skream & Boys Noize, Hot Since 82 & Rudimental, MK and Kolsch. The hypnotic qualities of ‘Flashing Lights’ is the joint sum of ethereal vocal contributions from Bklava and clever synth manipulation via Fitzpatrick, sure to cause waves of sheer energy in the club.
