Nieuw: de TivoliVredenburg By Night context mix serie! In deze serie geven we dj's en producers de vrijheid om een mix of soundtrack te maken binnen een zelf gekozen thema of activiteit. 

  We trappen af met een sonische reis van Quanza: "In 2011 bezocht ik voor het eerst het binnenland van Suriname. Ik herinner me dat we met een klein bootje aan het varen waren op de Suriname Rivier. Er was geen lichtvervuiling, de hemel had paarse wolken die je in de stad niet kon zien en vallende sterren zag je om de minuut. Deze mix is een sonische representatie van die nacht."

Utrecht's en United Identities' very own Thrills in +41 neemt de vijfde episode voor zijn rekening: "Deze mix is een variatie tussen dreamy ambient, jazz, filmmuziek en personal classics. Muziek die ik veelal luister tijdens het schrijven van mijn scriptie. Funfact; ik eet veel noten tijdens het studeren. Die koop ik iedere dinsdag op de markt ‘De Utrechtse Notenmix’."

The Risveglio Muscolare series reaches the fateful 12th episode, closing a symbolic circle with a very special contribution by the Utrecht based selector Latoya.

I got the chance to discover Latoya's talent a year ago at Muto Studio in Amsterdam and I immediately noticed a nice affinity with the Risveglio concept.
Of course, the mix she delivers on this occasion hasn't disappointed the expectations one bit, offering a smooth blend of broken beats and trippy atmospheres, at times playful, at times dreamy, at times obscure 🕳️

I am sure it will cheer up many home dancers in Amsterdam and elsewhere, also in light of the new covid developments/re-closing announcements. 🤕💪🏼
