@bushwackaofficial is a producer and DJ who really needs no introduction. He has been part of the fabric of the electronic music in the UK since the late 90's both in his own right and as one half of chart conquering duo Layo & Bushwacka!. whose track Love Story Vs Finally has become an evergreen staple since it's release in 2002. That track is only a tiny fraction of the Bushwacka story though.

One of his next gigs see's him land at Campo Sancho where he is playing on the Saturday night, 30th July. Ahead of the gig he put together this mix for us and I spoke to him at length about his musical upbringing and his extensive career along with what we can expect from his set at Campo Sancho and loads more.

Detroit's @petercroce is one of the stand out DJ's on the house and disco scene so it's an absolute pleasure for us to have him guest on our Selectors series today. He's an artist whose own releases always have that added touch of class and originality that we strive to share and play here at Le Visiteur. He is also the head behind the brilliant @rocksteadydisco label which has delivered a steady stream of top class releases from the likes of Sol Power All-Stars, Blair French, Jaco Matthews, Eddie Logix, JKriv and of course Peter himself.

Now the label is back with a brilliant four track V/A EP 'Remixes Rarities & VIPs Vol 2' featuring Moonlighter, Sol Power All-Stars, Eddie Logix and Nois Land with Igor B, Dazzle Drums and Blair French on remix duties. We've had a sneak peak and it's a very special EP indeed. From deep euphoric percussive house via Latin carnival jams, a peak time percussion bomb and a deep Balearic gem it's an EP overflowing with quality which will fly out of the door.

To celebrate the release we spoke to Peter about the label and his own career, he also sent us over this brilliant mix recorded live at the legendary Movement festival in Detroit. It's everything that we love about Peter's work, unerringly cool and packed with dancefloor nous. This is exactly how it should be done.

Studio Pandora is a hybrid between an off- and online stage in TivoliVredenburg. In the former smoking area on the sixth floor podcasts about music are developed, DJs are given free reign and a stage is created for conversations about culture and/or Utrecht. Studio Pandora was created thanks to the experiences of TivoliVredenburg in recent times. A souvenir of the COVID era, which artist Dewy Elsinga has turned into a colourful and warm headquarter, by which we’d like to offer a kickstart to starting, experimenting and often local creatives.

Berlin based DJ / Producer @steve-mill is has been a steady pair of hands in the electronic scene. Active as a producer for the best part of 15 years he has touched down on some of the best labels out there including True Romance, Large, Papa, Madhouse, Toolroom, Salted and many more. He’s clearly got the ear of his peers.

2022 has seen him step up the gears and his latest EP  Love Attack EP has just landed via the excellent @dirt-crew label featuring 3 hot originals and a Lorenz Rhode remix of the title track.

Mark Broadbent aka Radio Guesthouse, is one half of the Ibiza based tag team Dj duo, The Brothers Grim. Playing regularly at venues on and off the island of Ibiza, with a more ‘Balearic’ leaning whilst not always playing ‘Balearic’ selections. First in last to leave. Dividing opinions since 1969.

"...making a Balearic themed mix without it sounding cliche or cheesy outside of its traditional setting - i.e poolside or seaside - isn’t that easy. I didn’t want to go down the traditional Silver Back route by using tracks that had been specifically made to sound ‘Balearic’ whilst finding tracks that played next to each other give that energy without being ‘Balearic’ standards. Sounds confusing but I think I’ve managed to put something nice together for you."
