In 1998, right after I did a David Holmes remix for Go! Beat, they asked me to remix one of their other bands.

This is the remix I made....and which they rejected.

"Ehhmmm, we were expecting you'd do another house remix like the David Holmes one".

Another lesson learned: labels want you to repeat the same succesful trick over and over again

Tao G es talkboxer y productor de instrumentales y remixes de Rap y G-Funk inspiradas en la era dorada de los 80’s-90’s.
Nacido en Valencia, España en 1992. Se interesó desde bastante joven por el mundo del Hip Hop y especialmente por el subgénero de Rap llamado G-Funk. Comenzó a producir beats alrededor del año 2008 influenciado por el Jazz, Soul, R&B, etc…Actualmente sigue trabajando en proyectos y colaboraciones con cantantes y productores de todo el mundo, es colaborador como compositor y talkboxer para el sello Smooth Swing Records.
También colabora habitualmente con Cirkulo Asesino Ent., Lay Low Inc. y el MC y productor sevillano Vasseta.

Hola!! Me llamo Maxi. Nací en Rosario, Argentina en 1988, pero me crié a 70 kilómetros de ahí, en la localidad de Cañada de Gómez. Soy dj, periodista de música, al principio de todo, de la niñez a la adolescencia fui baterista, también tuve una pequeña empresa de sonido, varios programas de radios. Junto a mi gran amigo Palinio Serafin, creamos fiestas como Shock Yunke, Yunke Inland, Rave the House, durante 10 años y la alegría que será para siempre, también tuve un sitio web de noticias sobre la escena electrónica que se llamó Rosario Clubbing y, además, fui editor de sonoramaradio.com. Conocí varias provincias de mi país poniendo música. Viajé muchos kilómetros para hacer bailar a mucha gente. Compartí cabina con djs internacionales como Guy Mantzur de Israel o Tom Hades de Bélgica. También con grandes djs de Argentina como el dúo Spitfire integrado por Luis Nieva y Miguel Silver.
