Description: Just having a clearout and found these on an old DAT. Re-panned (remember Amiga 'stereo'?), EQ'd and otherwise unedited from the original. Made in ProTracker using samples from TV, films, games and anything else I happened to take a fancy to at the time.

Somehow I think this later morphed into Life in a Lampshade. I remember being obsessed by that mellotron flute triplet

It's been almost 6 months to the day that I began writing electronic music. I have learned so much in the past half a year and I am proud to present my latest.

Having been a touring member of the Mugenkyo Taiko Drummers for almost 6 years, I have always wanted to experiment with adding taiko drums into my own personal writing and I feel I have realised that goal with this track. It was an absolute joy to produce and I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as I enjoyed creating it.

Making Trouble (Headphone play)

I was fiddling around with a noise machine--one of those things that does white noise, rain sounds, thunder sounds, etc--thinking about circuit bending but first I thought I'd try running it thru a sampler/effects box to see what I could cook up. Turns out the "Rejuvenate" setting produces some alternately soothing and creepy sounds! Great fun--I could do a whole gig with this rig, man. Thanks Brookstone!
