Herr Lich was born in East Germany in 1980. Music was always a part of him...he started playing piano at the age of 6 and drums at the age of 14. He was a drumer in a couple of Rock- and Crossover Bands.
In the year 2000 two Technics 1200 and one Pioneer mixer came for a visit and today they are still together.

Herr Lich started mixing with vinyl in different styles of electronic music, House, Schranz, Acid, Minimal, Elektro and Techno.
Today his style is techno and progressiv music...close your eyes, feel the deep bassline and get goosebumps from his sets.
He was the Resident of Rheinfeuern in Cologne till he started traveling in Asia 2007 for 3 years.
In this time he played powerfull psycedelic trance sets at different partys and festivals in India, Nepal, Indonesia and Thailand under his pseudonym SHANTI TRIP.
