In just half a decade EXHALE’s unique brand of boundary-pushing, futuristic electronic music has marked them out as one of techno’s all-time greats, bringing together rising artists with heavyweight international names like no-one else. Evidenced succinctly on their highly impressive VA series, now on its seventh release, the compilations are a testament to the brilliance of Lens’ curatorial skill and the remarkable pool of talent in her orbit making waves in techno's global underground.

Across thirteen tracks, Exhale VA007 is a magnificent taster menu of some of the best in the game right now, featuring a number of familiar faces from the EXHALE roster including Flour, fresh from his recent Visitors EP on the label, previous VA returnees GALLØ and FLKN and EXHALE regular AIROD. Fittingly 5th birthday celebrations are opened here by label boss herself, with the incredible ‘Activate’. The track is everything you could want from Amelie Lens: pummeling kick, flawless, high impact production, trancy big room arps and a gargantuan drop that will put you in spin mode.

This is a compilation that brims with raw energy, exciting talent and encapsulates EXHALE’s dynamic techno universe with aplomb. As essential as the label itself, here’s to the next five years and many more to come!

Recorded on November 16, 2019 at Lantern Club Beijing, the Chicago-based artist used percussion samples, live modular synth, stems, unreleased material from Webuildmachines, as well as tracks from his aliases and personal catalog to deliver an absolutely crushing performance in the Chinese capital. This set represents a variation presented across Asia in November 2019, a tour that  also included Seoul, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Beijing. While we watched the current events unfold in the USA, we have been feeling pretty helpless, we wanted to speak sooner but we felt we wanted to take action rather than adding more words. We are sickened by the way individuals have lost their lives over the years at the hand of disgusting police brutality, most recently with George Floyd. But this all stems from systematic racism that generations have suffered. Some of us can’t really begin to know the true extent of how this has impacted millions of human beings over hundreds of years and while we know this may not amount to a huge donation... We believe that now is the time for change, we want to make a move towards this, even if it simply helps raise more awareness amongst our own circles.

Prodigal Son artists & friends have worked together over the past few days to make a compilation of which all proceeds will be donated to NAACP.org who are leading the fight for change in the United States, we know this is a global issue and will like to support everywhere but we have to focus on one movement at a time. We would like to thank Bandcamp for highlighting this as an important organisation to direct the funding to, as they recently announced plans to make considerable donations.

Please purchase if you can, pay at least £10 for 13 tracks or pay more if you feel you can. We will donate all the proceeds to the NAACP fight against racial based discrimination and their work to bring reform to the criminal justice system in the USA.

Arty es el proyecto artístico de esta chica nacida en Cádiz, en este momento con base en Sevilla, abarca desde la fotografía, el diseño, el dibujo y por supuesto, la música, su principal pasión y expresión desde bien pequeña.

Sus influencias musicales vienen desde géneros como el Metal, el Rock y siendo el Trip-Hop su primer contacto con la electrónica, cuando bien jovencita, cambió su lugar de residencia por Barcelona y fue ahí cuando descubrió el Techno y todas sus variantes.

En Barcelona poco a poco se adentró en la escena y tuvo su primer contacto con el mundo del dj, pero es a su vuelta a Andalucía, hace un par años, cuando realmente empieza su trayectoria como tal.

Sus sesiones siempre cuentan una historia y pueden abarcar desde Ambient, Noise, EBM, Techno, Industrial y hasta Hardcore, pero siempre con una cuidada y exquisita selección, teniendo especial atracción y añadiendo su toque personal, por su obsesión, sensibilidad e influencias por la cara más oscura del arte.

Actualmente tiene varios proyectos y colaboraciones musicales que pronto saldrán a la luz.

Sometimes music goes beyond itself. Travels through sound in a constant evolution. It runs through rivers of darkness. Slides between every frequency until it opens your mind, carrying the listener to the thin line that separates club culture and musical awareness. This commitment combined with small doses of contemporary art aims to instill a new way of understanding Techno. The result is "T-Label". This collective combines development and perseverance to transport the public to places where it has never been, and where it will never return.

From the union between T-Label and Industrial Copera (Granada), the most underground and avant-garde concept of the club is born, where different disciplines are diluted in a particular aesthetic in order to create an environment in which love, art and respect prevail. This project receives de name of "Vortex".
