The band's name was taken from the title of a film concept by L.M. Kit Carson, about a rock n roll suicide and written to star Andy Warhol's muse Edie Sedgwick.

While living above a bar and venue in Chester, the band started out life making lo-fi demos with only a guitar and drum machine. The venue’s owner, Martin Ellis, became their mentor and guru culminating in many late nights drinking and 
listening to Patti Smith which cemented The August September.

The Neon Dark Lights are a UK alternative rock band from Stoke-On-Trent Staffordshire. Formed in 2017, They originate from the remnants of previous Staffordshire bands which have toured extensively throughout the UK. The Neon Dark Lights begin in 2019 with their debut 4 Track E.P. available on CD & Download

Professional DJ, playing House, RnB and commercial or whatever fits the crowd.  Mashing it all together to give a set that's not scripted and different everytime.
