We open our series with an artist we have been huge fans of for well over a decade - Luke Hess.

Born in 1980 in Metro Detroit and subject to the city's mid-90's warehouse parties, Luke Hess has harnessed a deep appreciation for electronic music and the expression of the underground movement.  His background in mathematics and engineering has given him a scientific approach to the dance-floor, using frequencies, tones, and soundscapes to transform surroundings and mood.

This incredible mix was recorded just a few weeks ago at Kenneth Christiansens "Dub Nation" event at About Blank, Berlin. Luke showcases his skills throughout, with tight, precise blends that he's made his signature. We are truly honoured to have one of our favourite ever artists open this series.

Neil Malkan, rising progressive house producer from India, makes his debut on our label with the release Collider. The original track is driven by dark basslines and a hypnotic lead throughout, delivering a powerful journey on the dancefloor. The release also features two remixes with a mature sound: Will DeKeizer (US) adds his deep and driving touch, while Greg Tomaz (India) strips it back with a refined, progressive rework. Tm Shuffle comes from the forests of Ruutana, Finland. His passion for music started in early 90's and his record collection and musical vision has grown since those times. He runs Vuo records, having released music from Trevor Deep Jr, Stardub, Ohm, Kalle-M, Octaedre, himself and many more. In his productions as well as DJ sets the spotlight is always on the music. His sound is a sum of all those felt bassdrum kicks, which have been plenty. You could call it dubtechno but it's more; it's 4am moods and endless grooves, filtered delays and rolling hihats. Sometimes techno, sometimes house, most times something beyond.
