Having been inspired by a diverse range artists including Beck, MF Doom, US garage-rock band The Sonics, LA doo-wop act The Cadets, beatboxer Reggie Watts & Apsáalooke rapper Supaman, Oscar Mic (real name Seamus Hayes) grew up in South London with his father, an Irish actor (National Theatre, RSC) & mixed race Jamaican mother (Indian, African, Jewish) who is a teacher. He was introduced to music at the age of six when he started learning trumpet, before turning to the guitar at the age of thirteen. Having grown through Punk, Goth, 60s Retro and the Ramones in his early teens, he later got into Hip Hop and soon formed The New Infection who were played on BBC Radio 1 and gigged regularly. The band then disintegrated and Oscar Mic found the confidence to step out as a solo artist after testing a loop pedal in Denmark Street, where the shop’s staff asked him when his next gig was and what his social media links were . . . that’s it he thought; “I could, I should and I NEED to go it alone

Phantom Electric Ghost A Biography

Keith Gittens-Jones, better known by his stage name Phantom Electric Ghost or alter ego Josephine Electric, is a dedicated electronic musician and producer, hailing from Concord, New Hampshire.  Phantom Electric ghost is a one-person band that has been his vehicle for expressing sounds and concepts that Jones calls Expansive Sound Experiments or sound paintings.  Jones is a cancer survivor who overcame a level 3 Sarcoma in 1997.   
PEG also had a distribution marketing arrangement with Bentley Records, where over 30 singles were released on all Streaming platforms in 2019.
Jones is a strong believer in creating music with hardware analogue, and digital synths.  In 2012, he created his alter ego Josephine Electric the phantasm female lead singer of the band Phantom Electric ghost using Roland Vocal transformer technologies found in the JDXI, VT-3, and later VT-4.  The transition to Josephine Electric as the voice for the Phantom Electric Ghost (PEG) increased listenership on SoundCloud to the over 80,000 plays that Jones has today. 
The attention created by the Phantom Electric Ghost SoundCloud provided Jones with the opportunity to become a podcaster with over 53,000 streams worldwide..  The Phantom Electric Ghost podcast has interviewed over 30 musicians and artists worldwide, including artists such as Kendra Black, Kendra Erika, Sex With Roller Coasters, DJ Leenata, Reign, and NYC actor Jes Davis.
