Linear System is a techno artist from Spain known for his hypnotic, immersive sound that blends deep, layered textures with powerful basslines. His distinctive approach to techno has earned releases on acclaimed labels such as Planet Rhythm, Molecular, Dynamic Reflection, and Symbolism. Through intricate sound design and driving rhythms, he creates evolving soundscapes filled with dark yet dynamic energy. In 2023, he launched his own label, Modern Minimal, releasing music exclusively for free.

Dilemma Podcast 163 Tasha Safari from Berlin (Germany). Tasha Safari was born in Ganja, Azerbaijan, and is now based in Berlin. Her sound merges the drive of 90s-inspired techno with hypnotic and dark modern textures, always carrying a subtle feminine touch.

Her musical roots lie in the contrasts of Azerbaijani culture, where Eastern traditions meet Western influences—a background that shaped her open and eclectic approach to sound.

She has performed at renowned clubs including Tresor, RSO, ÆDEN, and Renate, with appearances across Europe, Asia and the CIS. Her productions have appeared on labels like R3volution Uncoded and Diffuse Reality, as well as compilations for Mutant Radio, Reverse Records, and PRTL WRX and more.

The Gekiga Podcast is proud to present one of techno’s most singular artists today: the co-owner of the EVOD label and one half of the Syntaxism duo, DIVIDE.

With releases under top-tier labels such as Semantica, Mulero’s Warm Up Recordings, Fautzi’s FautSection, NewRhythmic Records, and Norbak & Temudo’s Hayes Collective — as well as his own EVOD label — Davide, aka Divide, has rightfully earned the admiration of all the legendary giants in the game today.

His frequent collaborations with Oisel have presented an uncompromisingly raw, lo-fi vision of techno that reveals a textural lineage to his underground punk rock roots and ’90s techno affinity. By bridging the “divide” between the old and the new, and infusing a DIY mindset that rejects trends and high-production polish, he has crafted a sonic signature that simultaneously exists within and outside of today’s techno scene.

I’m so grateful for Divide’s contribution to the GKG Podcast. He has been one of my personal favorite producers for a long time. He has me given a mix that I truly feel is one of the best I’ve heard all year. This mix is a journey through the EVOD catalog (including tons of unreleased gems!) and the mind of an artist who stands firm in his commitment to his unique soul’s expression and is impossible to sway or influence by the false shine of popularity.
