John Fernie, riginally from Glasgow, Scotland, has been a figure in the local Scottish electronic music scene since the early 2000s. With a deep-rooted involvement in organizing and performing at events, he has continually contributed to its growth and evolution.
In recent years, Fernie has further honed his sound design through both music production and live DJ sets, leading to performances at events across Europe and beyond.  His signature sound has strong links to emotional pads and thought provoking energies.  He also collaborates with local deep techno mainstays Repart and Deepbass to promote the Orbits event series, and serves as a podcast curator for the respected Norwegian techno platform Monument.
His discography spans a variety of well-regarded labels, including KVLTO, BAHN·, Informa, and Indefinite Pitch, with more work on the horizon as he continues to push his sonic boundaries.
Fernie is also the founder of Space Textures, a platform dedicated to atmospheric deep techno. The label is steadily expanding, showcasing a growing catalog of high-quality releases.

DJ Sodeyama’s murky alias The People in Fog is up next for a very special number. The DJ/producer has been active since the 90s, reshaping his home city, extensively touring the globe, releasing music, founding record labels (Arpa) and toying with different incarnations of his palette under a few different names. The People In Fog is one such project, founded a decade ago as license to lean into his more disco and house inclinations, a means of connecting with a lighter penchant for Chicago-style and Balearic rhythms. It’s a manifestation that’s given the world several first-rate releases like debut album A Ray of Light (2013), Album: 1977 (2021) and this year’s Too Much Knobs and Cables. His whistle-stop promo tour of Japan for that latest release has been whipping up plenty of shifting grooves and phase distortions, and delivering that fresh take on sound to IRL crowds in his native land. For the rest of us, the nine-tracker’s a perfect source for summer anthems: a fuzzy, analog patchwork of synths and low-end bass. Bassiani Podcast 273 takes all of this and turns up the heat, The People In Fog’s deep reverence for underground sounds is here for a two-hour mash up of grimy percussions and sensuous urban sounds. The mix was recorded at the last Planeta Pravda at Planeta Za / Ankali, a night Marie will remember as one of magic - surrounded by close friends and kindred spirits, each of them receiving exactly what they needed. The space was shaped by patience, understanding, and a willingness to truly listen. What ended that night will echo into every tomorrow.

When Marie Pravda settles into a DJ booth, she’s there to spark some chemistry with those willing to embrace it. While she is perfectly capable of generating similar energy in her recordings for the online world, it’s the endless push and pull with the physical crowd that charges her selection and mixing.

Developing into an avid digger during long shifts in gloomy basements and online, the Prague-based DJ and DIY promoter took the Czech scene by storm with her savage take on a growing range of club music – whether from her trippy or dance folders. In 2020 she joined the resident collective of Ankali & Planeta Za, where she runs her regular Planeta Pravda club series.

Marie has contributed episodes to numerous online radios and mix series for both club and non-club outlets. She recorded mixes for Knekelhuis, hereandthere, Galactic Funk, and appeared on online broadcasts of NTS, Hör, Mutant, Kiosk, Operator, and many more.

From 2021 to 2023, she was a member of the artist roster of Gravity Network, an international initiative for club culture exchange in Europe and beyond.
