Drae Sesler, a young hip hop artist that was born and raised in Tampa Florida, Drae first started to pursue rap for real in the 8th grade at Franklin middle school when he joined a group called "The Section Squad" which consisted of 4 other rappers...over the next 3-4 years he attended Blake high school where he battled other fellow rival rappers to make a small buzz for himself, at the time he was accompanied by his best freind Kevin Harris (aka Kollion Da Don) who had his own studio which is where Drae spent alot of time studying his craft and recording alongside with another best freind Tony Black (aka Young Black).Drae Sesler, (known at the time as Baby Drae) was  1st scheduled to release his 1st mixtape "Dat Fye Vol. 1" late 2008 but after the sudden illness of his freind Kevin, it was held off. At the start of  2009, Drae dropped out of high school, then a few months after that, Kevin Harris passed away (cancer).."that shit hurt a nigga heart foreal because before that time in my life, no one real real close to me had ever passed away so i didnt know how to take it,that nigga wasnt my freind or my homie, that nigga was my BROTHER, he was the 1st nigga that made me start thinkin about takin this rap shit serious foreal and he was the 1st nigga i started hustlin with back in the day "...after kevin died, Drae meet up with rapper/engineer Blaqnmild aka MrSelfServe  from Hartford Conetticut of SelfServEnt where he signed his first contract.later that year,  "Dat fye vol. 1" Would finally be recorded and released with features such as Cruscial, Heavey P, MrSelfServe, and more. A few days before new years, drae was in the studio beginnin to work on "Dat Fye Vol. 2" when he got a call from his older brother lettin him know that his other best freind Tony Black was murdered in Brandon (stabbed and shot) along with 2 others...."when i found out Black was dead i aint believe it, i just kept thinkin it was a dumb ass joke because i had just seen'em and had a long conversation withem the day before but when i seen it on the news later that night thats when reality set in...my nigga was dead and the all reporters and polices were live on tv  throwin dirt on his name sayin he was just another gangbanger...not to me, black was the kind of person who could make you die laughin at any given time even when you're mad at him, but when he passed, a piece of my humour went along with him, ddint have too much stuff to smile about anymore".Over the next few years, Drae and BlaqnMild ended up parting ways after the making of his 2nd official mixtape  "Dat Fye Vol. 2" which had features such as Tom G, Cruscial, Furious, and more. " it wasnt that i had nothin against Blaqnmild or the way that he works, cuz even to this day i will say that no other person has made my music sound anywhere as good as he did, it was just that i had other plans for myself and my career at the time so i went off on my own".the 3rd official mixtape from Drae Sesler would be titled "Snappin Like It's Mandatory Vol.1" and Drae would use all of his own money that he got from hustling to make sure that this cd would be released on july 4th 2012. "i was in Winter Haven Florida doin a track with  kevin's step cousin Ra-tee when he schooled me on how fast i can get protools and learn it, i was hustlin hard so i already had the cash, i went and copped all the equipment the next day and learned how to fully use it in less than a week , even though i had no help, i still managed to get the whole cd done (22 tracks),1 feature (Trab),  get 1,000+ copies made,get a photoshoot done, get the the mixtape cover done and promote it on the net, i was drained, but thats when i realized that im my own boss at this shit and that if i was gon blow up it was gon be all on me to start learnin the business side too instead of just focusin on makin good music only." as of now Drae is currently working on a few projects and is guaranteed to make noise this upcoming summer of 2014. "support a hip hop artist who puts time and creativity into every verse, i dont do this shit just for the money or the fame , i do this shit for hip hop and i do dis shit for each and every person that calls themself a fan of Drae Sesler's music"
