The aim of this program is to explain the monitoring system of the authority in order to build trust of this entity among public. The program explained the checks and balances in the authority regarding the tax administration and collection. 

The program also discussed the ways and means through which the KPRA monitor the businesses. it also talked about how frequently the authority  conducts audit of the businesses.  Follow up questions are asked as and when are required in the show for the clarity of the audience.

5. KPRA Monitoring system for transparency | Aitemad-e-Khyber | 5th Program

This program talks about the importance of RIMS- Restaurants Invoicing Monitoring System -  that offers benefits for businesses as well as customers. This is a real time invoicing system that ensure transparency as well as offers less service tax for customers.  This program also make a case for customers to prefer those restaurant that have RIMS software installed in their businesses. As KPRA endeavours to document the economy, therefore RIMS plays an important role not only in transparency but also in documentation. 

 There is also guidance and mobilisation element in the program to encourage businesses to install this software  and encourage service tax in the province. 

In the program, the guest Ms Sonia, an audit officer of kPRA also informed that they don't want to enforce by force rather they try to convince businesses to voluntarily join this system. She said that KPRA doesn't want to force businesses to register for this software but certainly they want to educate the business houses  to install the RIMS. 

Another objective of this program was to restore trust of people in the revenue system after knowing that their tax was going directly to the revenue authority. The program also talk about the extension of RIMS to other sectors so that tax collection can be digitised.
