La Danse Des Canards - Léman

“Earth” introduces the EP with various hazy sounds, paving the way for a psychedelic track that shows CQSG’s ear for melody, as well as his ability to work with clashing textures to forge consistent atmospheres. “Air” melts field recordings, fragile synthetic tones & voices melting as part of a brighter piece that gradually gets deeper and more introspective. “Water” complements this vibe, with slender sounds making their way through aquatic noises, bringing forth the more dreamlike aspects of CQSG’s works. Finally, “Fire” seems to aim at what is to come next from CQSG, providing darker tones, as well as more notable dub techno orientations to the mix.
