The juxtaposition between light chords and dark bass tones are symbolic of what emotions arise while one alone. Being solitary can provide peace and clarity, but if left unchecked loneliness can creep in and put one into a dark place. Solitude explores those dark places with inquisitive indifference and sheds an uplifting light on those black corners with the use of its inspiring lead melody.
