That said, at their core everyone is still the classic characters you know and love, even if it's a little harder to see that than usual.
Inspired by Flowey being "the good one" in Underfell, Asriel is one of the few characters who retains his moral compass.

On that note, Asriel takes the role of Toriel. In order to protect their best friend Chara from the wrath of his parents and all of monsterkind, Asriel has barricaded himself and his friend within the Ruins, which he has turned into the happiest part of the Underground. Or at least he's trying to.

So here it is. The Waterfall replacement. One giant garbage dump, simply known as the Dump. Buried within the regular garbage are hundreds of scrapped automaton carcasses, dismantled during the conflict between automatons and organisms or while the old CORE was being disassembled. Pretty creepy for our hero to be walking through it. Monsters are pretty creeped out by it due to the numerous urban legends surrounding it. Some say that the scrapped automatons can come to life and move around at night. Others say the place is haunted by an ethereal skeleton named Crazybones.

Here in this flavor text we meet Fuku Fire and her girlfriend, who take the role of Monster Kid. They've decided to face their fears together and go into the Dump in search of the elusive skeleton of legend. Who knows? Today just might be their lucky day.

Chara takes the role of Napstablook. They have hidden in the Ruins with their brother Asriel for years now, for fear of being slaughtered by the harsh monster personality outside the forgotten halls. But this safety and hospitality has not taken the edge off, far from it. They may be cynical and distrustful, but they're also loyal and determined, and will do anything to keep their brother's flimsy utopia safe.
This is an original optional chase theme for them, just in case you feel like trying to run from your fate.
