After the Ruins were devastated by the human, not many monsters remained. There were no monsters to really take on a leaderly role, and out of respect for the fallen queen, the remaining survivors left Toriel's house alone. Nonetheless, the lack of upkeep means it's still not in very good shape.

A vengeful Sans takes the role of Undyne. He's done slacking off. The Underground has lost too much, including a very cool skeleton that Sans was very close to. Best not get in his way. Then again, you don't need to.

Rampant industrialization throughout the Underground has caused the snow in Snowdin to melt, leaving only a gross slushy forest of dead grass in its wake. Needless to say, it's not exactly great for morale.

With one of the Skelebros having disappeared and the other never being around, the once vibrant Snowdin Town has lost its chipper demeanor. From an outsider's point of view it's the same as it's always been, but...the spirit it once had is all gone, and it is now merely a shell of what it used to be.

(Guest Track - Vert) [Aftergore VIII] Lonely Town

Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore CDIV, the Impossible/Dirty Hacker ending, details an ending in which a curious player messes with code to make a certain boss both dead and alive at the same time. The results are...illogical. Humans are to be treated as threats to the timeline above all else, and that is a crime punishable by death.
If you're curious on the AU name, all the Aftergores are numbered with Roman numerals. "CDIV" translates to "404."

Here's our Undyne role. It's none other than little ol' Flowey! Flowey the Flower! Like several other individuals relevant to the events of CDIV, Flowey knows that something fishy is going on with the timeline. Unlike some others, though, Flowey is pretty certain as to why. It's a little glitch in the system that needs...correcting. I sure wouldn't want to be the human that gets on that flower's bad side.

[Aftergore CDIV] Ensnared

Aftergore III, the Exiled Queen ending, details an ending in which only Undyne and Asgore have been killed. Toriel tried to claim the throne, but threats of a coup quickly sent her back to the Ruins. Now the Underground is in a state of instability and semi-anarchy. Humans are to be treated as...well, it's unclear right now, but it's not good.

Flowey takes the role of Sans. He's pretty chummy with you this time around, really looking out for you...is he up to something? ...probably.

Aftergore Bergen 4/5 of the Royal March event!

Theodore, known to some as "Politics Bear," takes the role of Asgore. He took advantage of the Underground's unrest and started preaching to them about the human menace, turning the populist masses against humanity as the end-all-be-all enemy. Many monsters see him as the kind of strong leader the Underground has always needed, but the man behind the mantras may not be as brave and powerful as everyone thinks he is.

Aftergore VI, the King Papyrus ending, details an ending in which everyone who could be killed by Frisk was killed with the exception of Papyrus. He's the ruler of the underground by default now, and he does his best to keep morale up in an underground more hopeless than ever before. Humans are to be treated as targets of puzzles, no matter their moral alignment. At least that's Papyrus's goal. His subjects might not be so keen on that.

Monster Kid takes the role of Papyrus. With their true hero gone, they've decided that they're gonna be the hero that monsterkind needs. They haven't fully figured out the whole "hating humanity" part yet, but they're working on it!
