This is the random encounter theme for the Ruins only. That's because it's the only place out of Mettaton's glamorous reach, so the atmosphere is...much different. Enjoy petty tussles with frogs and moths while you have them. Once you leave Napstablook's domain, you'll be yearning for the days when things were that simple.

Aftergore is a series of AUs taking place after Undertale's neutral endings, in which a new human enters in Frisk's wake.
Aftergore IV, the Queen Undyne ending, details an ending in which Toriel and the Ruins monsters are killed, but everyone else is left unharmed (other than Asgore of course). Undyne rules the Underground with an iron fist. Humans are to be treated as enemies, not friends.

Mettaton takes the role of Toriel. Deemed to not be taking the fate of monsterkind seriously, Undyne banished him to the desolate Ruins. But when life gives Mettaton lemons, he makes glamorous MTT-brand pink lemonade! He's turned the Ruins into the site of all of his new televised escapades; he's essentially made himself the star of a much smaller production. Sure, it's grossly insensitive for him to do such things at the site of a massacre at the hands of the previous human, but sensitivity shmensitivity, right?

(Guest Track - MoonStriker) [Aftergore V] A Gripping Tale of Love, Action, and Tragedy

The monsters were in a difficult situation, but they held onto their hopes and dreams.
That is until one final human came along...

Aftergore VI, the King Papyrus ending, details an ending in which everyone who could be killed by Frisk was killed with the exception of Papyrus. He's the ruler of the underground by default now, and he does his best to keep morale up in an underground more hopeless than ever before. Humans are to be treated as targets of puzzles, no matter their moral alignment. At least that's Papyrus's goal. His subjects might not be so keen on that.

[Aftergore VI] Where We Left Off

*Well, aren't you just, like, the most adorable little thing.
*You're so cute I don't even feel like forcibly indoctrinating you into our cult, lol.

Bratty takes the role of Sans. It’s been a few years, but she’s still a die-hard MTT stan. She and Catty are the heads of the King Mettaton Fan Club, but since they’re older than most of the other members, people treat them differently. Bratty has a bit of a mysterious energy about her, and teens and adults alike are a bit scared of her. She takes it in stride, though. In fact, she seems to enjoy that kind of attention.
