Hello! We are Pull Yourself Together, an independent record label, indiepop fanzine and clubnight based in Manchester. We like to listen to pop songs, which we then write about and play in bars and stuff. People seem to like that we do this, and they come to see us and pick up our little zine every two months. Lots of people have been saying nice things about the zine recently, including Steve Lamacq, Marc Riley, Artrocker and the NME. Which is nice.

Will Lenton is a composer and saxophonist, his current lead project is "Mr Wilson's Second Liners" - a new orleans street band that play 1990's club classics.  In January 2013 Will created, recorded and shared a new piece of music every day.  He leads his group Badger the Hermit and plays in Caulbearers, Lunar Coup and the Hillary Step Saxophone Quartet; as well as writing music for street theatre productions, films and radio.

One for ardent lovers of classic songwriters like Peter Gabriel and even more modern artists like Elbow, Quiet Rebellion is the brainchild of Award winning Yorkshire-based songwriter Shaun T Hunter. Turning his back upon a potentially lucrative production deal in the late 90’s, Shaun chose to plough his own musical furrow and forge his own path, resulting in a series of highly acclaimed albums while at the same time playing show case shows at Hospitals, benefits and prisons around the country.

Recorded and produced entirely by Hunter in a variety of unusual locations, including a reputedly haunted Industrial Mill, ‘Still Talking Scribble’ see’s Shaun taking his next musical leap. Having played every instrument on the record, there’s an incredibly personal feel throughout. With Hunter’s mesmerising voice yielding an incredible power, quite often he seems to recoil himself back in from the edge.

In ‘Still Talking Scribble’, Shaun has created another startlingly honest piece that takes the listener on a journey from the darkest corners of the mind, to the deepest recesses of the soul. 
Tracks like the urgent, mesmerising “From Cathedral Cities To Dark Northern Towns” and the wondrous “Beneath The Wings Of A Dragon” are both exorcisms and affirmations of the spirit’s undying ability to persevere.

Founded in early 2013 Jim Green started recording his first album after a college recording project that quickly set-off loads of material that is heavily influenced the 60’s folk revival with some modern tastes. Containing strong lyrical opinions on todays society and powerful progressions creating a vibrant, unusual and unique sound. Currently based in Manchester UK, with high hopes to take his music everywhere by any means necessary.

Cityscape Records is a long established kitchen table label which has been championing DIY pop from a Bolton terrace since ‘96.
