Paul Jones aka Jhim was mostly known in the music scene under his M.D.S moniker, as well as for it's Pants & Socks duo with our lovely friend Anorak.

On this new project we find him exploring the ambient side of his being. Illusions is a collection a four meditative, yet intense and complex compositions. Time signatures shift, soundscapes evolve and harmonies progress to take you on a cosmic journey.
The man being a mastering engineer, the production of this EP is nothing but crystal clear and deep.

The last couple of years has been a deep dive into jazz and related genres for Ars Dada with the newly finalized EP trilogy Katharsis & Threnoidia, a work that was highly conceptual, and therefore not necessarily about «banging tunes» but music that could convey a larger artistic concept.
However;
“Like with most things one does for a long time one gets a little bored with it eventually. That's why I’ve very much enjoyed diving head first back into a bit of metal infused breakcore madness.”

He released the EP True Norwegian Bass Metal on Peace Off Recordings in 2014, now eight years ago!
He always wanted to make a follow up EP, but for various reasons (like the aforementioned one for example) He never got around to it before now.

The EP was written over many years, some tunes He's played out for years while some are fairly new, but they’ve all gotten a last little makeover to be ready to finally see the light of day. He's also very happy to have the mighty Broken Note give that extra mastering oomph that really kicks you in the balls!!!

Hailing from Arad, Tobe:n, one of the next generation of artists, has been cutting his teeth as a DJ since 2012 for Romania’s Freenetik Kru and Bass Invaders events. It’s only in the last couple of years that he has found himself stepping to the fore as a producer with releases for Conspired Within and Din Is Noise. Tracks like ‘Forest Beings’ and ‘Parallax’ have announced his arrival into the arena following established countrymen Dyl and K-Rob. 

“I get my inspiration from lots of artists. Since I’ve got into the world of music production and sound design I’ve developed this passion for all sorts of unearthly sounds. There are lots of passionate and unique artists, truly devoted to the music they make and I find a bit of myself in all of them.” – Tobe:n.
