19 Year old, Hampshire based, contemporary folk singer/songwriter, Megan Linford can regularly be found performing at festivals and events across the South Coast and was the winner of the 2014 Sussex Young Folk Performer competition at the Southdowns Folk Festival.

Megan's unique songwriting style is influenced by folk singers such as Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and Laura Marling. She has supported folk artists such as Martha Tilston, Oysterband and the BBC Young Folk Award winners Ciaran Algar and Greg Russell.

In Summer 2014, Megan released her debut 4 track EP, Withered Leaves which was recorded at the Old Black Smiths Studio in Portsmouth. Withered Leaves which was inspired by her love for nature, poetry and Shakespeare.

After a short break to complete her BA Hons Degree in Music Performance, Megan is now back on the music scene and set to release her second EP 'Rhiver' which is being launched at The Square Tower in Old Portsmouth on Thursday 27th October 2016.
