Our special guest this week on he Cadenza Music Source to Cycle podcast is Jane Fitz.  

A DJ, promoter and music journalist from East London, Jane has been making a name for herself since the early 90s, from spinning a mixture of house, soul & funk in Camden Town parties, to setting up the Peg nights in London a few years later.  Peg took its place on the underground deep house scene in the capital city, attracting guests like Charles Webster, Chris Duckenfield and Jimpster, and it’s been non-stop for Jane over the years.

A highly respected DJ, Jane has become a firm favorite amongst London’s clubbing fraternity.  She has also travelled extensively to play her music, taking in parties in Berlin, Bulgaria, Detroit, New York and Chicago, and beyond, as well as playing at her latest club venture, Night Moves.

Ness began his electronic music journey in the late 90's and his evolving interest and passion soon encouraged him to start a dj career experimenting with various genres – from trance to pure experimental. With a background in sound engineering and many years of research and fine-tuning, he gradually developed a distinct personal style with a strong focus on atmosphere combined with hypnotic vibes. In 2007 he opened his own record store in his hometown in Sardinia (Italy) and 2 years later he founded his first label - Mono Records.
He is co-founder of The Gods Planet project and related TGP label with Claudio PRC.odcast 026 : Ness.

With a career spanning decades, Freund has worked under aliases such as Pink Elln and Tobias., blending experimental sounds with precise production techniques. As a sound engineer, he has collaborated with iconic artists, while his solo work explores minimal, ambient, and techno genres. Freund's mastery of analog equipment and improvisational live performances have made him a prominent figure in the global electronic music scene.
