Had to fight with this one. After trying different styles 5 or more times (mostly conventional hiphop) i ended up with this atmospheric experiment.All made in Ableton live with mostly samples and 3 additional synths (2 pads, bass).

Thought of putting some raps on the first two drumparts but didn't have the time to record it.
Will upload a version with raps maybe sometime.

The recording of the Dalai Lama singing this ancient mantra "Maha Mrityunjaya" of the Rig Veda was taken with the permission of the Dalai Lama to one of his students. At first he refused, but then he agreed, but said the mantra should never be sold, but must be passed in vain. If you would like to share this with others, please continue to include this note.

Die Aufnahme, auf der der Dalai Lama dieses uralte Mantra "Maha Mrityunjaya" von Rig Veda singt wurde mit Erlaubnis des Dalai Lama von einem seiner Schüler aufgenommen. Zuerst verweigerte er, doch dann stimmte er zu, sagte aber, das Mantra dürfe niemals verkauft werden, sondern müsse umsonst weitergegeben werden. First Track I entirely produced with Maschine. Not firm with the automation yet. Was a bit tricky :)
Took the Intro of the Second Song and Some Vocal and String Samples from the other. Took a guitar out the Brenda Song and sampled it with variing Pitch. 1 ext Bass and 1 ext Drumset added. Hope you enjoy.

I had no satisfying idea coming up for this one.
Filtered bass sample, reversed guitar samples and those hits in the chorus+vocal samples are from the track. Added Drums (within Maschine) and Synth Bass and Keys (in AbletonLive)
