I created this folktronicast, tribal electro mixtape a few days after an operation in the hospital, during the time of my healing...
In my head I had the global healing, the wish and hope for an end to wars, oppression, violence, persecution, flight, destruction and famine...
for a common path where we do not hurt everyone, others and ourselves, but respect them...

... a little girl (about 9 years old) walks alone into a beautiful forest full of flowers. So she continues walking deeper into the woods, which are getting darker and darker. Despite all this, some forest animals accompany the girl so that she feels safe in these dark woods. And finally the girl arrives in the middle of the forest, which is again bright and full of flowers and that's where she finds the beating heart of the forest :)

Guided by the philosophy of "Journey Over Genre," Tobias Korb's sets are a sonic narrative where the story is everything. He weaves hypnotic builds with cathartic peaks and a coonstant dynamic interplay between dark/heavy and light/playful sounds to create a full-spectrum dance experience. Prepare for an intense journey that concludes with a soft, integrative landing.

Tobi has always been passionate about music, but initially just from the perspective of a listener, dancer, and raver.

Things took a turn when he learned the art of DJing from his brother, a Techno DJ, and immediately lost himself in the immersive power of DJing. For him, not a means to an end but just a joyful way to playfully interact with the music he loved. Once in a while, playing for small groups of people in his living room - but never intending to play for larger audiences.

His relationship with music evolved when Tobi faced major challenges in his personal life and discovered “Ecstatic Dance,” which became both a source of joy and healing.

The more Tobi experienced this power of healing and joy for himself, he felt compelled to bring this into the world - paying some of his favorite DJs for personal classes and starting to practice DJing, specifically for ecstatic dance - slowly opening up opportunities for him to share this gift of joy and healing with larger audiences.
