Sonata sopra l'aria di ruggiero Syntagma Usach

El Cancionero Chilidugú del padre Havestad es una expresión monumental de la música cultivada en dichas misiones. Consiste enuna compilación de canciones religiosas alemanas traducidas al mapudungún por el cura jesuita Bernardo de Havestad, publicadas por él en 1777. Luego de dos siglos esta obra fue rescatada por Víctor Rondón, musicólogo y ex-integrante de Syntagma Musicum, con el apoyo del FONDART para la investigación y publicación de un número especial de la Revista Musical Chilena y, posteriormente, para la edición de un disco compacto donde participó el Coro de Niños Huilliches de Chiloé.
La presente versión se realizo el 2010 con el Coro de Niños del Colegio Santo Domingo.

Silk Music Showcase 546 - Jayeson Andel Mix "Sinfully Summer" Edition Vol. 6

The transition between Spring and Summer is usually a time filled with so much hope, and yet this year I find myself, unsurprisingly, stuck in a mire of sad music and foggy ambient evenings. I feel like I'm 15 again, actively searching out songs for heartbreak and longing and just bathing in them day after day. I'm not sure how much other people can relate, but I've found myself going through wild swings of emotion and outlook during the last few months. Sometimes almost euphoric about the possibilities ahead and other times pulled down so far into the realities of the moment that doing almost anything becomes paralyzing. One of the few constants has been preparing and then weirdly performing these mixes each month. It's a magic thing because when I'm done I always feel like the mixes sound both like my current state but also some level of escape that I'm unconsciously reaching for. I'm not entirely sure what I'm reaching for at the moment, but I can tell you that these songs made me feel things that I haven't felt in a while. I feel that longing again. I hope it's melancholy doesn't drag you down, but instead gives you a few drops of hope. Summer isn't here yet but it's coming...
