24 year old (Oct 12, 2000) Cartersville, GA based artist/rapper ‘SHXCKEY’ (Jacob Shockey) is one of the very few artists to come up out of the South Georgia scene, where as he was born in Hazlehurst. Using his craft as an obsessive art form to transcend how he feels in a more articulate manner, SHXCKEY started rapping in 2013 dropping his very first track on SoundCloud “In a Minute”
It took a minute, but now SHXCKEY has amassed over 450,000+ streams total across multiple platforms, since dropping multiple tracks since 2020, as well as been invited to work with artists such as:
Atlantic Connection, Truescribe, $lugs, Tho, and Mi¢key. Bangers in SHXCKEY’s catalogue include: 
Overture (& the slowed version), im great, One Day, I Remember, TG Topic, Lucas Road, and The Plan. 
Mellow tracks include: 
Back of My Mind, Better Me, S T R E T C H, and Reflection. 
SHXCKEY also works with his twin brother who goes by ‘Matt Key’ who professionalizes in producing and sound engineering. He has also dropped multiple tracks on Apple Music and Spotify. 
SHXCKEY is resilient, lyrical, and prophetic with his lyrics & craft (thus coining his nickname ‘Shockey the Prophet’) 
He tends to take a more vulnerable & yet humble approach with his creativity, but it leaves undeniable truth of perspective with no fabricated persona.
