Song: Rose Colored Lens
California based country artist Toby McClure delivers a heartfelt ballad with his release of "Rose Colored Lens." McClure's own sister Missy contributed lyrics to this optimistically nostalgic tune that features a gorgeous arrangement of piano, acoustic guitar, and sweetly played fiddle, providing rich accompaniment for Toby McClure's wonderfully weathered and understatedly elegant vocals. Extremely polished production and superb song craft make Toby McClure's "Rose Colored Lens" an easy recommendation not only for country music fans, but for a broader adult contemporary audience as well.

I’m always thinking about music and time always seems short outside of work. But a few weeks ago, I knew I needed to explore a new song about our Christmas tree, as it has truly become a tree of memories. It’s amazing how a small ornament can be a conduit of a moment in time, and flood our hearts with feelings of family, and the years gone by. So late one night, I wrote this song. The sentimental melody and story are inspired by an all time favorite holiday movie, The Muppet Christmas Carol. It’s a very special song for us and we hope you enjoy another McClure collaboration as we present, “A Memory Tree.”

Midnight Winds is a song about traveling through life and through memories. Sometimes it’s hard to see the hope when things are so dark. But as we keep going, we find a strength to carry on. The winds push us forward, through midnight and into dawn.

Music has had a profound impact on my life. Discovering my Dad’s guitar buried away in the garage sparked a pursuit which ultimately led to music school. My twin brother and I started our own creative studio after college composing for all types of multimedia projects. After some devastating life blows I lost my older brother, Dad and Mom. Finding my way back led to taking some huge risks and moving to California to follow a dream of working for the Walt Disney Company, where I create happiness in the Disney Special Activities segment at the Disneyland Resort. I also compose music for independent projects on the side. My passion is music, and a life making people smile is just the beginning of my accomplishments!
