Reggae Got Swing

The third and final installment of the "RFLX Violenta" trilogy aka my excursions to the world of genre cinema soundtracks takes us to the Italian version of the wild west. Same procedure as with https://soundcloud.com/rflx/give-me-convenience and https://soundcloud.com/rflx/bedtime-for-democracy: 

Original scores, famous themes and lesser known sequences mixed together and combined with prototypical sounds and quotes from the genre. No other material besides the scores, samples and FX were used to create this mix.

Mr Baggins - Virtual deception

Having shared stages with names like Bonobo, Aim, The Bays and Giles Peterson it’s about time Outlook got this interesting Scottish Band down.
Combing jazz with cinematic emotions the four piece band draw influence from Radiohead, Madlib, Aphex Twin and Squarepusher. As well as two live drummers the band trigger live samples and use live instrumentation on Cello and Brass. Their debut album ‘Night Walks’ was funded by the Scottish Arts Council and features guest appearances from distinguished Scottish musicians. Released on Brighton based label Tru Thoughts, ‘Night Walks’ shows off energetic originality unlike any other band.
