The theme of the event was Future Folk and I knew that composer Mason Bates had the European folk sounds covered with his orchestration and blends between live and recorded music.  Hot Buttered Rum brought the acoustic Americana sound.  I tried to cover the future folk peasant sounds of the souks and markets of other corners of the world.  You will hear tracks from Latin America, Africa and the Mediterranean. It gets loud and congested and you might find yourself lost in one alleyway only to exit through a window into some new place you've never been to before ---- Gavin Hardkiss
