Take it Slow

During the spring of my freshman year of high school, my English teacher introduced a concept called "20Time." This entailed allocating 20 minutes of every class period to all us to work on a project of personal interest. The rules were 1. it had to be something we genuinely cared about 2. we have to actually make something 3. it must be school appropriate. I chose to write an instrumental album called “Nina’s Audible Psyche;” all five tracks exclusively produced through my loud tapping and swiping on the iPad Garageband app in class. I got to relive 20Time when my Music Studies major required us to create a Senior Project. Thus, allow me to present Nina's Audible Psyche: 20Time Project 2.0, a refined yet much more procrastinated iteration of my previous project. The other part of my Senior Project was a ~20 page accompanying paper, but we can just pretend that doesn’t exist. 

Thank you UCSB Jazz/Latin/Percussion, Outta Pocket, Lot 22, Blue Lemonade, and Intervals A Cappella for all your performances I had the pleasure of showcasing in my project!
