This is my (shortened) cover of Goodbye Summer, Hello Winter (a.k.a. ProJared's theme song) by FantomenK.  I'm not really sure what the inspiration was for this one, though I suppose the first part comes as a culmination of Epic Game Music's and WalrusIncMusic's covers.  It starts out as rock (acoustic in parts), becomes hardstyle, a bit of dubstep thrown in (just because), and returns to rock at the end, with some extra backing synth and choir.  The challenge comes from wanting to add more without adding too much.

Hunh...this one took a while, and I still couldn't get it to sound like what I knew it should sound like in my head.  If I ever go back and redo my old tracks after I get more skill, this will definitely be one to come back to.  Still, it turned out well enough for me to put up here.

Paper Mario is one of my favorite games of all time; it's definitely in my top 10!  I've played through Paper Mario more than any other RPG, and I still love the charm and humor every time through.  The Tubba Blubba chapter was always one of my favorites (second only to the next one, the Toy Box chapter), and he's definitely got the coolest boss theme in the game. 

 I tried to give his theme a new sad intensity, and that...kind of worked out. The original song relied very heavily on drums, which I try to keep to a low level in most of my arrangements, and that's why I think I had so much trouble arranging this.  Also, I couldn't get the violins to sound right no matter how much I tweaked them. But I think the chorus turned out super-well, which is great, because that's half the song!
