All righ, this is a swingin' idea I had this WE about french food, actually a French  food emblem, the cancoillotte from Franche-Comté, beloved by many ones !!

This is a song I wrote when I was seventeen. It was written as a children's song and based on a childhood memory of a visit with my parents to a London store (probably Selfridges) to see Father Christmas. I can remember excitedly going up to the top floor, joining a queue, being greeted by an elf and then entering this magical grotto before eventually meeting Father Christmas. He said a few words to me and gave me a present but I can't remember now what it was. But the experience left an impression and resulted in this song a decade later.
