DOT KAV is a Afro Taino Latino Puerto Rican. California-raised the artist whose music is a bold mix of faith, raw emotion, and hard-hitting self-produced beats. Blending rap, trap, and R&B, his sound is crafted from the ground up, built on original compositions that reflect his journey through life’s struggles and triumphs.

Inspired by the storytelling of Eminem, the punchlines of Lil Wayne, the creative energy of Chiddy Bang, and the vulnerability of NF, DOT KAV delivers music that hits hard both sonically and emotionally. Known for his self-produced tracks, his beats are as powerful as his lyrics, combining intense rhythms with soulful melodies that leave a lasting impact.

Faith is the foundation of DOT KAV’s artistry. Through his music, he shares the highs and lows of his journey, using themes of resilience, redemption, and spiritual growth to connect with listeners on a deeper level. Fans of NF’s transparency, J. NBC9 released his second full-length album State of Control on September 19, 2025, a record that defines his cinematic, bass-driven take on drum and bass. The album follows his 2024 return and marks a key milestone in a journey that has reestablished him as a progressive force in the genre. This December, he will deliver Fragments 2.0, a remix album expanding on the original Fragments project that featured Exile, Yasuki, Xtinctor, Lunatronic, AGRO, Irontype, and JRace & Albert White. That project brought international attention and wide DJ support, with each artist reshaping NBC9’s sound through styles ranging from deep rollers to heavy neuro.

As the head of Embassy 9 Recordings, NBC9 has created a home for his own output as well as a space for collaborators to explore forward-thinking drum and bass. His productions are designed with a dual purpose: to resonate in personal listening settings and to hit with power on dancefloors.

Before his return to drum and bass, NBC9 built an underground reputation under the name Influenza in the early 2000s nu skool breakbeat scene. Releases on Pure Funk, Illeven Eleven, Sponge, and Epidemic reached audiences across North America and the UK, with his music played in iconic venues such as Fabric London.

Two decades on, NBC9 stands with more clarity and intent than ever, blending experience with innovation to drive a sound that continues to evolve.

Boston-born DJ and producer Coastals started in Miami’s club scene at just 14. By 16, he was opening for major acts like Kygo, blending the sounds of ‘70s rock, disco, and modern house. With 8 years of production experience, his music channels the spirit of summer, surfing, and the Pacific coastline. Now based in South Bend, Indiana, he runs a light and audio company and plays weekly around the University of Notre Dame, delivering feel-good, high-energy sets rooted in timeless grooves.
