The MOTOJO story:
Techno ist die Konstante, die MOTOJO zusammen schweißt. Sie teilen viele weitere Gemeinsamkeiten, die stärkste ist ihre beidseitige Verwurzelung im tropischen Indonesien.
In Deutschland angekommen, wuchs Moggi zum Sound of Frankfurt auf, während Daniel die heiligen Hallen des Aufwung Ost/Stammheim in Kassel erleben durfte. Für beide fiel der Startschuß in der Musikproduction, Moggi gründete das Triebtäter Records Label auf dem Ende der 90er seine ersten Releases veröffentlicht wurden.

Beide konnten sich der Anziehungskraft Berlins nicht entziehen, 2005 landete Daniel in der Stadt und veröffentlichte erste Produktionen auf Pulsar Records. 2006 das erste Liveset im Icon.2009 die Entscheidung fürs Auflegen. Von den Pulsar Records Netlabel Parties ging es dann in die weite Welt, zuletzt in die Wüste Nevadas zum Burning Man Festival.

Nach vielen vielen Gigs und endlosen Parties war auch für Moggi der Tapetenwechsel angesagt,
2012 landete er in der Hauptstadt.

Es war nur eine Frage der Zeit, bis sich diese beiden Charaktere treffen würden. Im Herbst 2014 war es dann soweit. Seitdem feilen sie ihrer gemeinsamen Definition von Techno. So viel sei gesagt: treibend & minimal, oldskool & newskool, dreckig und manchmal doch so clean.

L’America is an independent record label that was founded through a desire to develop and nurture real artists in this generation of “disposable music”. Our mission is to work hand in hand with our artists using long term career building principals and, as artists ourselves who have been through the business, to do away with the outdated record label models that are still being used today.
