Sometimes, you don't realize how much is happening. As a producer, I've been at it for over 2 years now under the name Toffk. I had never produced before, always thought I couldn't do it. And now... 16 tracks, fully ready. 4 beautiful releases in 2024 under my belt, and another 8 planned for 2025. What will 2025 bring?

Hello I'm DJ John, and welcome to Progressive Sunset Sessions. 
Originally from Birmingham, England I moved to California to get married to my true love and beautiful wife. Growing up in the 90's I used to love going to the local record shops in Birmingham to buy mixes tapes that the local DJ's would sell there.  I feel in love with the progressive and uplifting sounds of deep house and trance of the mid to late 90s.  
Decided to start DJing myself to share my love of music, and to share my mixes with others. In to all things progressive, melodic and uplifting.
I'll be releasing a new Progressive Sunset Sessions mix weekly which will include my favorite tracks in Progressive and melodic house and trance. 
Some week the mix with have a different theme or style to them.
(Sunday afternoon Edition) -  Is a more chilled mix, of progressive and deep house.
(Dark Edition) - A more deep and darker mix of progressive/deep house and melodic techno.
Once a month I will be doing a trance mix.  Trance music will always have a special place in my life and my monthly mix will be a journey through some classic and current trance.
Growing up in the 90's in the UK, I'm a big fan of the early old skool rave sounds and of Hard House.  I'll be doing the hard house sessions from time to time and the old skool rave mix where I take a trip down memory lane.
I'll also be doing some bonus mixes each month, where I focus on a certain style of music or record label.
