It's Good To Be A Tree is a deep and atmospheric record label run by Sergey Pushkin, which focuses on downtempo/organic house with indigenous sounds, flowing percussion and heart-warming melodies.

The label's focus is to create a collaborative environment where artists from different genres can come together on one platform and this latest release is an eight-track compilation featuring solo music by Daniel Hokum, Kuumba, Last Gentleman On Playa, Valique, Yassen, Zoe Reijue and Sergey Pushkin. There is also a three-way collaboration between Betelgeize, Beznosuk and Valique.

Sergey Pushkin’s “Fading Away (feat. Unibird)” has a sensual vocal by Unibird which is nestled on a bed of liquid textures and ripening synths, all while the funk of the bassline carries the groove.

Crosstown Rebels’ sub-label Rebellion returns with a fourth instalment of its ongoing SOULS series, with fresh tracks from a selection of exciting, up-and-coming talent.
Curated by label head Damian Lazarus, Rebellion’s excellent SOULS series has always transcended sounds and scenes to dig deep into the most forward-thinking new electronic niches. It has a deeply embedded spiritual theme, like most projects with which Lazarus is associated, and this volume again connects the dots between a number of innovative producers from across the globe.
Belgrade and Mykonos-based duo MĪMĪ x FY open up with ‘Robotic Mode’, linking with Estray for a silky synth- laced house cut that goes deep into a cosmic future. The deft chords, spoken words and sci-fi signifiers enrich the groove perfectly. Brazil's Vini Pistori is next with ‘Hypnotized’, a scintillating fusion of pixelated melodies and bright, starry-eyed chords over a drawn-out and languid groove that is perfect for the late-night hours.
Frequent collaborators MILI and Hoomance then step up with ‘Casa Mama’, a playful cut with a carnival feel thanks to the characterful horns which bounce about over the crisp drums. It's a track full of soul and sunshine that captures the joy of dancing outdoors. OMRI closes things with the rubbery bass and skewed synth futurism of his off-grid percussive masterclass, 'Funk Rhythm.’

Sabo's record label, Sol Selectas, once again sets off on its annual summer voyage, and presents the 9th edition of its critically acclaimed 'Summer Sol' compilation.

This year's edition features 25 tracks that orientate mainly around organic house, but it also incorporates other genres including downtempo, Afro house and melodic house/techno.

Each of the tracks on this release have a joyous sound that embodies the hot weather of these warm summer months, and the compilation is released on the day of the Summer Solstice to celebrate the year's longest day of sunlight.

Collecting tracks from around the world, Summer Sol's concept celebrates diversity, as regardless of race, religion or gender, we are all equal under the light of the sun. This year's compilation has music with origins from over 17 different countries, and it embraces different cultures through local instruments, different languages, and traditional melodies.

Sol Selectas is a pioneering record label that is known for mixing the cultural influences of different nations folk law with contemporary electronic music. Summer Sol IX features music from imprint regulars such as Sabo, Derun, Guy Maayan, and Desert Dwellers, but there is also music from several emerging talents who are working with the label for the first time.

Collectively, the artists who feature on this release have also contributed to other influential record labels such as A Tribe Called Kotori, 3000 Grad Records, Cosmic Awakenings, Baikal Nomads, Pipe & Pochet, Akbal Music, Mobilee and Global Underground.

The cover art by Helia Jamali takes us to a paradise beach escape where the sun warms up every cell of your being, and the ancient sand grains hold the secret sounds of the universe.

Latteo teams up with feature artist D'aria for the superb new single Break Skin on Toka Musik while Hrag Mikkel remixes.

Latteo is an Italian artist living in Bologna whose style is characterised by warm sounds and organic grooves - techno with cinematic designs, exotic ideas and natural influences. He has made a real impact since debuting in 2020 and does so again here.

Break Skin is a deep and luscious world of warm and rolling drums with angelic vocals up top and shakers adding texture to the groove. The synths are deft and the whole thing has a subversive atmosphere.

Break Skin (Hrag Mikkel Remix) is just as deep but with a little more weight and well constructed with his signature sound. The melodies are moody and eerie while raw synths cut through the beats to bring a more twisted and haunting feel.

Tsubaki' is the thrilling debut Ep from New York based artist Nhii.
The first track Mangrowe Swamp is the spice in this ep. Playful, sweet staccato reverb sound pieces dance with a pulsating baseline. Followed by the title track „Tsubaki' which is framed by 3 elements: Energetic organic drums, Acid baselines and Dreamy pads. Sold! Medina showcases Nhii's longtime experience as a producer, tribal shuffling synths try to catch the kick drum surrounded by a dramatic wild east oud pattern.

As the cherry on the cake Namito delivers a strong remix of Tsubaki, but sometimes a baseline says more than words, pls HEAR IT LOUD!

Johannes and Phillipp have enjoyed releases on Kittball, Heinz & Ritter Butzke Records as they began their adventure in 2016. Their passion for music also developed during a professional violin or piano studies programme at the college.
With a heavy emphasis on incorporating and drawing inspiration from the classical world their 2 tracks deliver driving melodies with a vocal touch.

On remix duties they welcome Raphael Mader & EMPHI.
Raphael's career is flourishing this moment as he awaits his 2nd EP to be released on Renaissance Records / Young Swedish talent EMPHI provides a more progressive edit to 'Illusion' as Johan has set the bar high after receiving support from fellow producers Black Coffee, Khen, Yotto, Cristoph & Armen Miran on previous releases.

Lindahl, is a Swedish-Irish producer, born in Spain, Lindahl encompasses a melting pot of cultures, infused into one artist. Currently based in Berlin and working from Riverside Studios - He has been hard at work with vocalist KOKA on her solo project whilst creating the beautiful lead track Audara with lyrics infused in English & Albanian. We have the Premiere of a special remix to come from UNDERHER. A force in the scene & now among one of the most successful Tunisian and Canadian electronic acts over the the last couple of years, Having released with artist such as Moby, Books Shade, U2, Maya Jane Coles and many others he has created a much deeper, more hypnotic feel to Audara.
