Summer is flying by and it's time for our next compilation again. This time we have put together a large selection of artists for you whose sound we have been liking lately.

Downtempo is a very diverse music genre with many different styles and directions. As always, we want to address all these influences we like with our compilation and bring them under one roof. So there should be something for everyone on this release, whether to chill out on an open air or inside in the fog of the night.

We are very grateful to have represented so many different and talented musicians on our label and we would like to thank all artists involved. Especially our Mastering Engineer Haunted Water & Kilian Van De Water for the gorgeous Artwork again.

PRIMAL

Primal is an Icelandic electronic music producer and Dj based in Copenhagen.
The past few years, Primal has been involved with an electronic music project by the name of Kúra, featuring the Icelandic singer Fanney Osk.

Kúra, which became a widely recognized electronic act in northern Europe, offered an opportunity to explore new areas, ideas and genres. 
He eventually got introduced to the underground techno society by Just This crew.

Primal was then inspired to evolve his soundscape in new directions, resulting in a previously unexplored, darker universe with hypnotizing melancholic rhythms and heavy bass-lines.
The man behind Primal, Brynjar Bjarnfoss, was born in Reykjavík, Iceland where spent his early childhood years.

Since moving to Copenhagen at an early age, the music was always on the agenda. As a young adult he quickly got recognition in the Copenhagen underground electronic scene. He rapidly became a re-occurring act at various well renowned events, such as; Roskilde Festival, Distortion, Stella Polaris, STRØM and numerous clubs across Europe. He is currently featured as a newly implemented act of the Milano based Just This movement, and has recently cofounded the Just This record label.

LANDSIDE 

Landside is the  debut collaboration between Italian producers Hunter/Game and the Icelandic band Kúra.
The sound draws as much from the deep vibe and  melancholy ambience of Kúraʼs  reflective, dubby moods, as the more insistent groove of Hunter/Game's dancefloor roots.
Fanney Osk 's vocals  are like clear warm breath in a cold mountain breeze.  
Vibrating  waves are set against synths and melodic leads that break the languid feel like the arrival of an intense storm.

In this first remix EP, two wildly different producers offer up their own original takes.   
Max Cooper's remix is as gorgeous and melodic as always, setting Fanney's vocals floating over a sea of warm synth work and surprisingly driving percussion.  Benjamin  Damage, meanwhile, fires hard into the dancefloor, digging  a channel of tough grooves  within the ambient melodies and mellow vocals.

Lui et L'autre a duo composed of artists Mobi and Le Schiffre who are based in the Swiss Capital of Berne, they have been putting together some wonderful melodic productions over the past few months and we are pleased to Premiere this wonderful aternative mix by Mobi of their original Macrorave!

Erok Wol returns to LISERX with his new work entitled "Li(v)e". A work that shows the pain of not being able to change the matter around those who crave to find what is already configured. A story which is told by 3 tracks that were born after the expansion of feelings, about the passing and phallic condition of living beings in the universe. Climbing over his melancholy, Erok Wol “vibrates the cry” for those who haven’t had the chance to do what they thought was right.

Initially, the story is presented by "Sad Intro". A melancholic track that explores the synthesis of sadness, with an acid expansion of elements and a striking bassline. Then Erok Wol bring us "Cry for Infection", with a lightness composition and arrangement, however, strong in the expression of feelings with a deep and dancing rhythm, expanding Erok's identity. Finally, "Ritual for Life", a refreshing track that explores the celebration for life. Filled with rustic percussions and a progressive construction of drums and bassline, transmitting hope sensation about the day that we can all dance together again.

Outside traditional paths these driving grooves and polyphonic structures take the adventure seeking dancer to Dionysian highs and places never been before.

The yataghan is a type of Ottoman knife or short sabre used from the mid-16th to late 19th centuries. The yataghan was extensively used in Ottoman Turkey and in areas under immediate Ottoman influence, such as the Balkans and the Caucasus. The yataghan consists of a single-edged blade with a marked forward curve and a hilt formed of two grip plaques attached through the tang, the end of the hilt being shaped like large ears. The gap between the grips is covered by a metal strap, which is often decorated. The blade varies from 60 centimetres to 80 centimetres in length and is curved forward (like the Iberian falcata, or Greek kopis), sometimes reclining backwards again towards the very end. This blade form is often referred to as being 'recurved'. While the back of the blade is made of softer steel, the sharp edge is made of hard, tempered steel for durability. Jean Vayat enjoys a countryside drive in the twilight hour. This is his first offering for Shango Records. These three tracks will accept you for what you truly are.
