Token’s 60th release comes from label mainstay Ctrls, whose tight bond with the imprint continues with this seventh exclusive EP. Following last year’s Two Worlds EP, Nonuser takes Ctrls club focused sound to new heights, delivering rolling percussion alongside twisting, distorted leads and thundering bass lines.

The EP opens with Vocabulary. A rigid percussive framework provides the perfect, albeit heavy backdrop to the track’s distorted, detuned pads and tightly enveloped, morphing lead.

Nonuser’s title track takes dancers into slightly more bizarre territory. Its unrelenting kick drum propels staccato, cut up hi hats alongside a sporadic melody that falls slightly outside the grid.

The release ends with The Wave, a subtler track. Timbre rich chords fade in and out over a thick and rolling low end. Uneven claps complete this atmospheric production, which ends dissolving into the chords and drones built up over the preceding five minutes.

@chapter-records is kicking off 2020 with a bang by releasing the newest creation by Milford with his Debut on the label ‘’Sleep Deprivation”.

An EP where the Madrilenian artist shows off a change of style, worlds apart from his usual characterizing Detroit sound we know him well for.

Milford invites us on a voyage full of intriguing textures and well crafted dark sequences in the tracks “trick or treat” and “Transference” where he underpins his devotion to techno of an intelligent and refined nature.

We hear a twist in his story with the track “Expect the Unexpected”, a soundscape touching more on his electro alias UHF sound.

A fabulously vertiginous track of which the Spanish techno master Tadeo has also given his take on, with a more hypnotic but piercing vision on the original cut.

This is the first international release for Private Techno label and it comes from NYC's Deepak Sharma.
 
DJ, Producer and Curator of Hidden Recordings, Deepak Sharma has been entrenched within techno for over a decade. Known for a cerebral approach to music, Deepak's sound fits perfectly with Private Techno's releases.

Dilemma Podcast #032 Juan Evangelista from Córdoba (Argentina)Juan Evangelista is a young dj / producer trained musically in the city of Córdoba (Arg). It is characterized by its technique when it comes to mixing, where techno stands out as the dominant genre over many of its variations, inspired by futuristic atmospheres from the depths of ambient and experimental sounds to the modern club beat.
His first great performances emerge after creating TCC with his friends, a cycle that today has completed more than 30 editions and has encouraged culture by exhibiting artists who had never stepped on the learned how Jeff Mills.
In search of new challenges he chooses the Argentine capital as his new home where he has been able to click on the most important clubs and parties of the Buenos Aires Underground.
About the end of 2019 he has released his first album in Induxtrial Recordings proof of his hard work in the studio.
