Subsquad Prod. présente le second volet de sa série de compilation, les CITY SQUAD, qui mettent en lumière une ville et ses artistes avec des morceaux exclusifs, le tout en téléchargement libre.
Le deuxième opus est dédié à Grenoble et présente 15 producteurs grenoblois, depuis la musique Roots jusqu'au Stepper en passant par le pur Dub de Sound System. Vous pouvez également découvrir, sur la page dédiée sur notre site internet, la liste des Sound Systems locaux ainsi qu'un court historique du Dub à Grenoble.

Subsquad Prod present the second part of our serie of compilation, the CITY SQUAD. Each part will present the dub makers of a city (and its surroundings) through a compilation of exclusive tunes that will be available in free download.

This second part is dedicated to Grenoble and presents 15 producers from this city, from Roots music to Stepper. You can also discover, on our website, the list of local Sound System and a short historic of Dub history in Grenoble.

Tokiboun in Dub is a French-Swiss producer. Reggae fan since he was 13 years old, he started to compose in 2008. His music is generally steppa and experimental in the way of composing, with multiple influences. With participation in over 200 events travelling across Switzerland and sometimes crossing the borders of his country, sharing the stage with artists like Kimmy Gold, Cultural Warriors, Tetra Hydro K, Asher Selector, Koma Dub and an alternance of chill and electro tinted concerts, his music is definitely shaped for sound systems.

Having one album to his credit on the French label Marée Bass and being featured in compilations on diverse European labels, he continues with his first EP entitled Mountain Vibrations: a four track EP - 2 tracks + 2 versions Flute & Trombone!

Authentic character with an unshakable joy of living and desire to share his music, Tokiboun In Dub invites us to join his musical universe. A discovery made of magic!

Originally self released by Toronto's Nkrumah (Kwame Salmon)  in tiny quantities as a limited edition lathe cut, Congo is now available as a glorious vinyl release. This new hypnotic dub version was mixed by Toronto's "Heavy Manners" crew and recalls late 90's/early 2000's "Rhythm and Sound" releases with the edition of keys, Melodica and Xylophone.
